La chica del tren. The girl on the train.

La novela de la que todo el mundo habla. Y no es para menos porque creo que lleva ya ¡11 ediciones! Un sueño para cualquier escritor.

Es una historia tan "de día a día" que al leer libro pensé (y pensaréis) : ¡Cómo no se me ha ocurrido a mí! (porque simplemente no somos Paula Hawkins). Y me refiero a la parte de pasar todos los días por delante de alguien e imaginar su vida. Incluso estar sentado en una cafetería e imaginar que tipo de vida tendrán los que pasan por delante del cristal. De dónde vienen, o a dónde van. Es algo que hago muchísimo, y me gusta que esto sea el desencadenante de toda la novela.

Aunque es cierto que solo he necesitado 3 días para terminar el libro, creo que el marketing que han creado alrededor de este thriller es demasiado prometedor. No me mal interpretéis, es un buen libro, con una buena historia detrás, pero las críticas hablan tan estupendamente bien, que aunque no lo llamaría decepción, esperaba algo más.

Incluso de manera rápida, y algo ruda, podría tratarse de la típica película de domingo de Antena 3. (Me he pensado mucho si publicar este último párrafo.)

The book everboody is talking about. And it is no wonder because I think their are launching the 11th edition. Any writers dream.

Although it is true that I only needed 3 days to read the book I got to say something, the marketing around the book is quite promising. Don´t miss understand me. I liked the book, it has a good story behind, but because people were saying such a good things about it, I was expecting more.

It is such a daily story that when you read it you will think : Why didn´t I bring up a story like this before? Well... we are just not Paula Hawkins. And I am talking about the fact of trying to figure it out the life that people we see on the train or in a cafe has. That is something I really do, and I enjoy doing. Just to be sitting in a cafe and think about the life that people that are going pass have. 

I wasn´t sure about saying this, but it could be the story of a weekend movie on your tv at Antena 3. That one that really connects with you, but it is no way a good good movie. But I am sure that whenever they bring up the movie The girl on the train, would be right on point and we will just clap at it.  

Si buscáis una historia que os enganche, queréis algo fácil de leer, y volver a coger cariño a la lectura es una magnífica opción. No podréis parar de leerlo, y seguro que se resolverá de la manera menos lógica que esperabais. 

Quizás os estoy liando un poco con que si me ha decepcionado un poco, y que si he tardado solo 3 días en leerlo. Simplemente creo que el marketing ha sido mejor que el libro. Si no hubiera escuchado tantas críticas positivas acerca de el me hubiera gustado muchísimo más. 

If you guys are looking for a good story, easy reading, or maybe just like reading a little bit more, this is definitely a good book. There is no way you are going to stop reading this book and I promise you will never find out until the end what is going on. (Which is not easy to find in a book)

Maybe you guys do not understand my so far away comments like "it is a great book I just needed 3 days to read it" and "I was expecting more, and it could be the story of a weekend movie" BUT what I am trying to say is that the comments of people, the marketing about it, have been so good that I was for sure expecting more.

Maldito Karma./ Bad Karma.

Normalmente tardo mucho en leer. Creo no tener el tiempo necesario y muchos libros no te enganchan hasta las primeras tantas páginas. Y hasta que llega ese momento, muchas veces abortamos misión y dejamos abandonado un libro que seguro guardaba cosas emocionantes para nosotros.

I take very long time finishing a book. I usually think I do not have enough time to read, and books take a lot of pages to really attract you to the story. From that moment happens, quite a lot of the time we just stop reading and we lose the opportunity to learn all the things that books had for us.

Por eso, cada vez que encuentro un libro que me hace sacar tiempo para leerlo y me enseña que el tiempo no es una excusa, me gusta compartirlo para, poco a poco, volvernos todos un poco más lectores.

That is why when I find a book that really surprise me since the very first moment I share the book with everyone so that we all can get a little more love readers.

El libro del que os hablo se titula Maldito Karma. Una novela fácil de leer cargada de sarcasmo y sonrisas. Guarda una moraleja al final de la historia, pero realmente es un libro para pasa una buena tarde y mantener la cabeza ocupada.

The book is called Bad Karma. A very easy reading novel full of sarcasm and laughs. It gives you a powerful message at the end and it will keep you entertained the rest of your day.
