Scones para merendar. Recipe: Scones.

¡Jo!

Esta tarde he hecho scones.

First of all...gosh... last week I did so well uploading posts. One on Monday, on Wednesday and Friday. Not bad. But this week I started with no post on Monday.... sucks. I am so sorry, I am very busy, but I will try to figure it out a way so I can be here more days a week. I really want to.

Secondly, before starting with the post, I wanted to say that I am really upset about my photography skills and devices. I did photos of all the process of today´s posts, but they are so so ugly I won´t upload all of them. Maybe two... the better ones, but definetely not good. I also want to improve my camera and photography skills asap.

Ok. Now we can start the post :). Here you have a recipe!! Long time with no recipe in my blog and I was anxious to post one. I have been making scones today and let me tell you: they taste AWESOME.
I tried them first time about 6 years ago and since then, I do them every now and then. And every time I make them, I think "you should make this more often". You can do them either sweet or salted. Just add some cheese and enjoy! But for this post I did the sweet one which I recommend with butter and jam because they do not have much flavour on their own.

Necesitamos:

225 Gr de harina.
4 cucharaditas de levadura.
1 cucharada de azúcar glas.
1 pizca de sal.
90 Gr de mantequilla.
1 huevo.
70 ml de leche.

We need:

225 gr. of flour.
4 teaspoons of yeast
1 tablespoon of icing sugar.
A pinch of salt.
90 gr. of butter.
1 egg.
70 ml of milk.

Let´s do this:

-Preheat the oven to 200º
-Add all dry ingredients (sifted) into a bowl. Flour, yeast, icing sugar and salt.
-Add the butter and knead with your hands.
-Make a gap in your mixture and add the milk and egg. Better add it little by little.
-Take your mixture into a straight surface and knead. Add a little bit of flour into the surface first.
-In this step you can do two things. Either get a glass or some sort of cookie cutters, or you can take portions with your hands. The second option looks nicer, but messier. But I like that look.
-When you have all your little scones, take a brush and paint them with milk.
-Placed in the oven for 10-12 minutes.
